About George

George has been with Perimeter Counseling since April 2024. Prior, he spent 3 years in Metro Atlanta Seminary (MAS) earning a Master of Divinity, and subsequently 2 years at Metro Atlanta Seminary earning a Diploma of Biblical Counseling. He is currently planning to enter the forthcoming MAS Master of Arts Biblical Counseling. He is Level II Certified in Christian Trauma Care through the Christian Trauma Healing Network. In addition to addressing numerous and varying issues, OCD is a special area that George seeks to provide counsel.

In addition to counseling activities, George currently serves as a Ruling Elder at Perimeter Church and participates as a faculty intern teaching various classes at Metro Atlanta Seminary. George and his wife Cathy enjoying spoiling grandkids, outdoor activities that include hiking, pickleball and golf, and travel.

Primary Counseling Focus

George is gifted in walking with individuals through anxiety disorders, depression, crisis of faith, relational dynamics,  addictions, trauma, and clients’ “searching for significance.”
